If you are the kind of person who finds that DJ’s only play the songs that THEY want and not what YOU want, then the iPod Disco is for you.
You supply the iPod (or any other audio playing device) with your choice of songs on it and we supply the sound and lights.
We will supply you with a sound system (often much better than what DJ’s would use), connect your chosen devices, then give you a full guide on how to use it (usually takes no more than 5 minutes).
Once you are confident and happy with operating the equipment, we leave you alone to enjoy your event and return at an agreed time to collect the equipment.
All iPod Disco packages come with “sound to light” lighting, which will change in time with your music.
Q: What do I need to bring to my event?
A: Just bring your iPod (or any other audio playing device), along with the mains chargers and we will do the rest. We will supply all sound equipment, mixing desk and cabling and connect everything up.
Q: Can I operate my iPod during the event?
A: Yes. You can DJ your own event using your iPod (or any other audio playing device). We will set up and dismantle all equipment for you and give you a run through on how to use the equipment before the start. We will even include a microphone to help you DJ your event.
Q: Can I connect more than one device?
A: Yes. You can connect any number of devices, just call to discuss your requirements.
Q: What time can the equipment be set up and dismantled and how long does it take?
A: We can set up and dismantle our equipment at a time that suits you. Average set up/dismantle time is 30-45mins, depending on access.
Q: Who would operate the lights during the event?
A: All of our lights will be set to operate to “sound to light” so that they change and move in time with your music. We only use LED lighting for these hires, which means less heat and less power requirements.
Q: How much does it cost and what’s included in the price?
A: All of these types of hire include delivery, set up, instructions on use and recovery of equipment by one of our engineers. Prices start at £100 but will change depending on what type of sound system you require, location of venue etc, call us with your requirements and location and we can quickly give you a price.
